This 16th-century estate is set along the shores of Lake Como with ten-acres of parkland. Originally a private summer residence, Villa d’Este has welcomed guests since 1873.
The 152 rooms and suites, overlooking the lake or the park, are divided into two buildings: the Cardinal Building and the Queen’s Pavilion. Each is furnished with antique pieces in the Renaissance style and equipped with every modern comfort.
In addition, there's a wellness and beauty centre replete with spa treatment rooms, a sauna, turkish bath, indoor swimming pool and fitness facilities, along with tennis and squash courts, jogging trails, an indoor golf simulator and a putting green. A unique swimming pool is floating on the lake
